Learning
Ideas become understandable.
About NGY
NGY is a youth-led parent organization creating programs, platforms and communities that give young people practical ways to learn, build, connect and lead.

What is NGY?
Next Generation Youths is not one event and it is not another name for NGN Hacks. NGY is the parent organization that creates, operates, supports and grows youth-focused initiatives.
NGN Hacks gives students a place to build. NGN Network is being designed to help those connections continue. FinLit brings clear financial learning to younger students. Each initiative has its own purpose. NGY is the engine behind all of them.
Why it exists
Young people learn ideas in one place, find opportunities in another, meet collaborators somewhere else and are often left to connect the pieces alone. NGY builds the missing bridges.
Ideas become understandable.
Knowledge becomes practical work.
Builders find people worth knowing.
Momentum has somewhere to go.
How NGY works
Find a problem young people actually face.
Shape an initiative around a useful response.
Turn the idea into a real program or platform.
Bring a community into the work.
Pay attention to what worked and what did not.
Use that learning to build the next thing.
Our ecosystem
The parent relationship stays clear: every initiative solves a distinct problem, and every one is created by NGY.

Our principles
Ideas matter when someone gives them shape, tests them and puts them into the world.
A first step should feel possible, whether someone is new, experienced or still figuring out where to start.
The people a young person can learn from and build with should not be limited by geography.
Young people grow when they are trusted to make decisions, lead teams and own meaningful work.
The best initiative creates momentum that lasts beyond one workshop, event or launch.
Built by youth. Built for what’s next.
